"Click Here" is cheesy.

Perhaps back in the early 1990's when the internet was not yet a household item, and it wasn't common-knowledge what a "link" is or that you are supposed to "click" on it, the phrase "click here" might actually have had some merit.

But it's the 21st century and "click here" just looks dumb. It's amateur-ish. In any well-designed website, it will already be clear what is and what isn't a link, what is and what isn't clickable.

"Click Here" on a sub-conscience level, shows a lack of confidence in your website's visitors that they won't know "where" to click, which in turn, insults their intelligence.

For example, instead of...

Click here for more details

simply put...

>>more details or View more details

If you are going to tell them "where" to click, why stop there? Why not tell them "how"...
