Some domain registrars offer a "Catch-All" service. This means that any e-mail sent your domain will all go to the same place.

If you have registered www.widgets-r-us.com and have a Catch-All e-mail, then that means anything sent to an e-mail address ending with @widgets-r-us.com will all go to one place.

This includes...

sales@widgets-r-us.com,
support@widgets-r-us.com,
johndoe@widgets-r-us.com,
georgewashington@widgets-r-us.com,
