Many website developers "sell" you a copy of some generic website package, and just put your name on it. i.e. "Package A: 5 pages, 2 graphics, $100," "Package B: 10 pages, 5 graphics, plus contact form $250," "Package C: 20 pages, 10 graphics, contact form, 25-item product shopping cart, $750," etc. They like to sell packages like these because: 1.) They can quote the customer an exact figure before any work is done. 2.) It has fast turnaround because the sites are pre-built.
